This website presents Sanctuary, a private property in Southeast Washington, DC, and lets you request or confirm bookings for gatherings, retreats, and events. The exact address is shared after a booking is confirmed.
2. Bookings
Submitting a booking request does not confirm a reservation. Requests are reviewed by the sanctuary team. No payment is taken until your reservation is confirmed with you. Where instant booking is offered, it applies only to approved, low-risk uses.
3. Pricing and taxes
Published rates are the current confirmed starting prices and may change. Exact pricing, cleaning fees, and applicable DC occupancy taxes are confirmed with you before any charge, and every rate shown on this site is a real, current price.
4. Permitted and prohibited uses
The sanctuary welcomes ceremonies, retreats, wellness, workshops, celebrations, and creative work that respects the space and neighbors. Party rentals, weddings or receptions, open-to-public ticketed events above the stated capacity, and any unlawful use are not permitted.

Sanctuary welcomes all people. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, family status, or any other protected characteristic, consistent with the District of Columbia Human Rights Act. 5. Our responsibility
We share property details in good faith and do not knowingly misstate the property. You are responsible for your group, your guests, and following the house rules and any agreement you sign.
6. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
